Kathleen Carper - Human Resources Coordinator
Confluence's decision to adopt Teamflect was driven by the need for a comprehensive tool that could handle various aspects of performance management seamlessly.
Kathleen elaborates on the diverse uses of Teamflect within Confluence, stating, "We're using it for reviews. We are having all of our employees put goals into Teamflect and use it for surveys." This level of multifunctionality has enabled Confluence to centralize their performance management processes, making it easier for employees across all locations to engage and align with the company's objectives.
"Both the onboarding and implementation processes have been really easy. Teamflect has worked smoothly!"
When Kathleen joined Confluence, implementing Teamflect was one of her first major projects, and it went remarkably smoothly.
The platform's intuitive design meant employees could start using it right away without extensive training.
What made the difference wasn't just the user-friendly interface, but the comprehensive support system. Teamflect provided dedicated training for both administrators and end-users, backed by an extensive library of tutorials and use-case videos.
"My customer success manager is awesome. She is really quick to answer my questions. She's been fantastic!"
Kathleen praises her interactions with Sue, her dedicated customer success manager, "When I send her an email, she responds to me immediately. I know if I send her something, I'll hear from her within the day. She had a half-hour phone call with me when I first started... So she's been fantastic."
"I love the fact that I can send out multiple reviews, goals, surveys, and see all the data in one spot."
As a self-described "Checklist Person," Kathleen appreciates how easy it is to keep track of everything performance management-related inside Teamflect.
She loves being able to check in with her team on goal progress, survey completion, reviews, or anything else.
Teamflect not only makes it easy to keep track of performance but also empowers employees to own their goals, agendas, and to-do items. Goal owners receive automated notifications to update their goal progress at intervals of their choice, without a manager having to worry about sending reminders.
"Teamflect has definitely helped in regards to getting us away from paper."
The transformation from manual, paper-based processes to a fully digital system has been revolutionary for Confluence. Kathleen explains how Teamflect streamlines the entire performance review process:
"You have until this date to get this done, and then it's going to go to the reviewer and they have until this date to get done, and then it's going to go to the calibrator. So I can give specific deadlines for things, which makes life a whole lot easier."

f you could summarize your entire experience with Teamflect in a single sentence, how would you go about it?
It has been amazing. It's made my life a whole lot easier.
What are you using Teamflect primarily for?
Right now we're using it for reviews. We are having all of our employees put goals into Teamflect, so they'll be using that in the coming months and the coming year to track progress. I've already been tinkering with the goals side of things, so I'm
00:00:43
familiar with it and if they've got questions they can call me. We've also done surveys. We have events and things like that, so we need to know what people really want to do and what they don't really care about. We did send out a survey for that and do that periodically to check in. We definitely want to get into doing more question-based surveys to find out how we're doing with our employees, both new hires and existing. That's all kind of coming down the pipe.

What is your favorite thing about Teamflect right now?
I love the fact that I can send out multiple things and see all the data in one spot. I'm a checklist person, but I'm also a data person, so I like being able to see exactly where things are, what's completed and what's not. Whether that's me checking in on reviews to make sure everybody's gotten them done the way they need to, or making sure the goals are all completed the way
00:01:47
they need to. I like having that ability to just check in.
How has Teamflect helped Confluence?
It's definitely helped in terms of getting us away from paper. It's just in the infancy stage of that, I think, but I like the fact that it's working towards it. It also streamlines things, so it's a little more cut and dry as to what the process is. Hey, you have until this date to get this done, then it goes to the reviewer, and they have until this
00:02:19
date to get done, and then it goes to the calibrator. So I can give specific deadlines for things, which makes life a whole lot easier.
How has your experience with Teamflect been so far?
It's been great. I like it. The ability to set up goals is perfect for me since I'm a checklist person. I already used it once last year when I first started tinkering and had something I needed to keep track of, and now I've got it set for a bigger goal
00:02:52
that I've got this year, to track everything I need to do for it. I really like that side of it, and that ability. It makes it super simple to send out those reviews.
What do you think of customer service and support?
It's amazing. Sue has been more than happy to set up a phone call with me and talk things through. When I send her an email she responds to me almost immediately. I know if I send her something I'll hear back within the day, unless I'm
00:03:28
sending it at the very tail end of my day. The customer experience and customer service side of it has definitely been there.
Teamflect, build teams that deliver.
