Securitas stands as a prominent global leader in the security industry, with a workforce of approximately 350,000 people worldwide, including 120,000 in Europe alone, spanning across 20 countries and 16 languages. As a traditional security company evolving in today's modern landscape, Securitas Europe needed a solution that could adapt to their expansive global presence while maintaining a people-focused approach.

We interviewed Loredana Albenzio, Head of Talent and Learning at Securitas Europe, who oversees talent management, performance management, leadership assessment and development, and learning initiatives. Securitas is transforming from a traditional security organization into a modern, digitalized business. Our ambition is to work with our clients as a security partner and to add value through our global presence, technology, and digital capabilities. We are a people business, and our people are at the heart of our transformation strategy.  We need to develop our people for the future, to equip them with the right skills and ensure that they are set up for success.  

Teamflect is a tool that helps us manage our people processes in a way that supports both line managers and employees, for example, facilitating regular check-ins, implementing a systematic performance review process with consistent feedback sessions, and establishing robust development programs. Ultimately, Teamflect empowers us to keep our people at the core of everything we do.

It means ensuring we set all our employees up for success by clearly defining expectations and performance goals.  Employees have specific, measurable goals each year, and their performance is evaluated against these.  

We now manage these processes through Teamflect. Teamflect's functionalities are crucial in helping us ensure our people feel empowered and supported in their development, in alignment with the evolving needs of our business.

By adopting Teamflect, we are making an investment in our people, and this reinforces our view that people are central to our success.

Adoption and usage rates of Teamflect internally have been very high, and we continue to support our teams during the early implementation phases. I am also very enthusiastic about all the new features that Teamflect continuously develops, and I strongly believe that the continued usage of Teamflect will boost our performance management culture and feedback culture within Securitas Services Europe. Personally, I find Teamflect's ability to adapt to client needs is what sets them apart from tools I have used in the past. They are very quick to respond, and I find them to be very client-centric.
