An AI readiness assessment scores how prepared an organization is to use AI. It looks at the tools it has approved, the rules around them, who owns adoption, and the skills of the people expected to use them. Most assessments stop at the first three. The checker above scores all six, then scores your HR team separately.
Your answers put you at one of four levels. Each level comes with a score out of 100 and one sentence on what it actually means.
People at your company already use AI, but on personal accounts and with no rules, so company data is going into tools nobody approved.
Your company has started with AI, but the rules and the ownership have not caught up yet.
AI is approved, available and governed at your company. The next step is building it into how work gets done.
AI and people already share the work at your company, with agents running parts of your processes under clear ownership.
A company paying for at least one AI tool starts at Exploring or above. A company paying for none sits at Exploring at best, however good its other answers are. That is because nothing is approved for people to actually use.
The checker returns two scores out of 100, one for your company and one for your HR team, and marks your weakest area in each.
Two of the sub-scores the checker gives you, HR processes and Data and agents, are the ones Teamflect is built to move.
Teamflect runs performance management, performance reviews, goals, one-on-ones and feedback inside Microsoft Teams. Today, most of the HR processes the checker asks about sit in a document instead. AI Writing Assistant drafts review comments in the form rather than in a separate tab. Teamflect Agent, unlimited from the Professional plan, answers where a team stands without anyone opening a file. HR data is hosted on Microsoft Azure, and Teamflect customers can connect that data to ChatGPT or Claude with Teamflect MCP.

It is a check of how prepared an organization is to use AI: which tools are approved, what rules came with them, who owns adoption, and whether people have the skills. This one adds a second score for the HR team.
Frameworks differ. Some use five stages, some use three. This checker uses four levels, Shadow AI, Exploring, AI-enabled and AI-native, each with a score band and a sentence that says what it means in practice.
Most frameworks group readiness into technology, data and people. This checker splits it further, into four company sub-scores and three HR team sub-scores, so a weak area is visible rather than averaged away.
Yes. The assessment and the full on-screen report are free with no account. Downloading the two-page PDF asks for a work email once.
Because HR can lead AI adoption rather than wait for it, and you cannot make that case without knowing where HR stands relative to the company. None of the assessments we compared scores the HR function at all.
People using their own AI accounts for work because the company has approved nothing. Company information goes into tools nobody signed off and nobody can audit. It is the lowest of the four levels in this checker.
Not if you only read the report on screen. When you submit the PDF download form, your answers and scores are saved with your contact details.
