Pick a survey type, add a few lines about your company and get a survey ready to run. Download it as a Word file for Microsoft Forms or an Excel file that adds up the results.
Choose the kind of survey, tell the generator about your company and what you want to learn, and it builds the questions, the introduction and the closing note.
Choose one of 13 types, from engagement and pulse to exit and onboarding. Each type starts with questions written for it.
Add your company size and how long the survey should be: Short, Standard or Detailed. Industry is optional.
Write a line or two, like "people feel overloaded since the merger," and the generator adds questions on it. Or start from an example.
A survey in sections, with agreement scales, choices and open questions. Edit or remove any question in place, then download it.
Every type has its own sections and questions, so an exit survey asks about leaving and a manager survey asks about the manager, not the same list twice. Looking for ready-made questions to copy? See the employee survey template gallery.
A survey is only as good as its questions. Each question the generator writes follows four rules, and you can hold your own questions to them.
Join two things with "and" and people who feel differently about each cannot answer.
Leave out words that point to the right answer, such as "great" or "excellent."
A new hire and a director should read each question the same way.
A statement of a dozen words gets answered. A long one gets skipped.
For example, "Are you happy with your pay and benefits?" becomes two questions: "I feel my pay is fair for the work I do" and "I am satisfied with the benefits I receive."
You download the survey in two forms: a Word file Microsoft Forms can import, and an Excel file that totals the answers when you paste them in. Both download after you enter a work email.
One survey gives you one answer. Teamflect runs pulse surveys, one-on-ones, goals, feedback and performance reviews inside Microsoft Teams, where your people already work.
Teamflect HR data is hosted on Microsoft Azure. This generator is free and needs no Teamflect account.

It builds an employee survey for you. You pick a survey type and describe your company, and it gives you sections of questions, an introduction and a closing note that you can edit and download.
Good questions ask about one thing, use neutral wording and plain words, and stay short. The generator writes every question that way, and you can check your own questions against the same four rules.
It depends on the type. A pulse survey works with 10 to 15 questions. An engagement survey is usually closer to 20. The generator offers Short, Standard and Detailed, and you can remove any question.
Thirteen: employee engagement, satisfaction, pulse, onboarding, exit, training and development, benefits, IT services satisfaction, eNPS, manager effectiveness, remote and hybrid work, company culture and internal communication.
Yes. You can build and preview two surveys with no sign-up. A work email downloads the files and unlocks five more builds. No card is needed.
Download the Word file. In Microsoft Forms choose New form, then Quick import, and upload the file. Forms reads the numbered questions and their answer choices.
No. It does not write questions that ask for a name or other identifying detail, and it leaves out age, gender, health and similar topics. Check the survey against your own policies before you send it.
Text you type is kept for up to seven days and then removed. If you unlock more builds with your work email, Teamflect saves your contact details so we can get in touch later to introduce Teamflect.
